Cardboard holders for ampouls
Today, each of us is facing an acute question of economy, and for enterprises, it is constantly
relevant. In addition to the purchase of all necessary materials for the production of products, you
must also bear the costs of related products. For pharmaceutical companies, for example, ordering
packaging, purchasing syringes, blisters, ampoules, plastic holders for ampoules, etc. And with all
this, you need to remain a competitive enterprise, which, at great expense, is not so easy to do.
Therefore, enterprises are constantly looking for ways to reduce the cost of production.
You can even consider the following chain: many pharmaceutical companies produce drugs that need to
be packaged in ampoules. The ampoules, in turn, should be made of sufficiently thin glass for quick
and easy opening. What happens next? Ampoules are placed in plastic holders, which no doubt
perfectly help in the preservation of the drug, and then all this is packaged in a pack. This has
been happening for dozens or even hundreds of years. Yes, even if it is not so convenient to get the
ampoules from such a holder, and you have to take care of its disposal all the time, but what to do?
Everyone is accustomed to this process, and everyone is happy with everything.
But the problem is still there. It lies in the fact that plastic holders for ampoules, firstly, are
not a cheap accompanying material, and, secondly, all the time one has to solve the problem of
disposing of such a holder. Just imagine, in order for such a holder to decompose, it takes more
than 1000 years. And at the same time it causes great harm to the environment. A rather acute
problem that pharmaceutical companies have to face is the disposal of such holders
Printing house “Slaven” is working in the direction of manufacturing packaging for pharmaceutical
companies and therefore our employees began to solve the problem of their customers. So they were
developed and offered to customers for use instead of plastic holders – cardboard. For each
type of ampoules, special holders are developed, which fix the ampoule in a static position at two
or three points depending on the shape of the ampoule.
When developing such holders, the staff of the Slaven printing house took into account many
important factors, such as: ease of use, preservation of the integrity of the ampoule, cheapening of
production, and also preservation of the environment.
To date, a fairly large number of pharmaceutical companies have appreciated the positive aspects of
such a holder. Let’s look at all the advantages of using such a holder:
- cardboard holder does not pollute the environment. Firstly, it is made of environmentally friendly material, and secondly, the cardboard decomposes to five years, while plastic needs more than 1000 years;
- cardboard holder reduces packaging weight;
- A cardboard holder helps save pharmaceutical companies from making packaging, since it is much cheaper to make a holder from cardboard than from plastic. Also, such a holder can be ordered along with the manufacture of packaging for ampoules, which reduces customer costs;
- our cardboard holders are designed in such a way that it is much more convenient to remove ampoules from it than from a plastic holder;
- cardboard holders are not made on a single template. They are designed for each type of ampoules separately. Everything is taken into account: size, weight, shape, etc.
Printing house Slaven is the owner of a patent for the manufacture of such holders. This
development is its property and there are no analogues to such a holder.
In the manufacture of such a holder, the employees of the Slavens conduct mandatory tests on the
folding of the holder, on the retention of the ampoule, and on the convenience of its removal.
Ampoules in such a holder are fixed so that even when the package is dropped, they remain integral.
Cardboard for this holder is used only certified and environmentally friendly, always very tough and
durable.
